2012: Charlton Rex: Theatre Restoration
Specialty Group Pty Ltd assisted the Charlton community with the theatre restoration and refurbishment of the historic Rex Theatre.
Specialty Theatre manufactured and installed a motorized velveteen festoon main stage curtain, velvet theatre fabric curtains for either side of the stage egress, auditorium entry curtain, rear wall curtains and entry curtains from the main foyer.
Specialty Theatre also installed a modern 3D-capable silver cinema screen.
Specialty Theatre worked closely with the Community Theatre Board for this restoration to ensure that the Art Deco ambience of the Rex Theatre was maintained.
