Charlton Rex Theatre Restoration

Specialty Group Pty Ltd assisted the Charlton community with the theatre refurbishment of the historic Rex Theatre.  

Alexandrina Centenary Hall – Goolwa, South Australia

The Centenary Hall, located on the corner of Cadell and Dawson Streets in Goolwa, South Australia was built in 1930 after the Mayor of Goolwa became frustrated that the town council would not build a cinema in the town. So he paid for and built the Centenary Hall. The hall stopped operating as a cinema in the 1960s.

St Matthews Catholic School, Mudgee - portable stage drapes

Specialty Theatre manufactured and supplied a full set of wool stage drapes and theatre cutains to St Matthews Catholic School in Mudgee to go with their new, movable stage supplied by Select Concepts. 

‘Grace Kelly: Style Icon” at the Bendigo Art Gallery

Specialty Group Pty Ltd is proud to announce that its Specialty Theatre division has provided theatre fabric and stage curtains to the spectacular ‘Grace Kelly: Style icon’ exhibition at the Bendigo Art Gallery.  The exhibition was opened by Her Serene Highness, Princess Charlene of Monaco on 10 March, 2012.

Specialty Group Pty Ltd through its theatre supplies and equipment division, Specialty Theatre Supplies, is proud to announce today the official opening of the new Kantor Family Music and Performing Arts Centre (MPAC) at the Hamilton & Alexandra College, Hamilton, Victoria, Australia. Before a full house of dignitaries, supporters of the school community, staff, students and parents, the Minister for School Education, Early Education and Youth, The Hon. Peter Garrett AM, MP, delivered the 13th biennial Alexandra Oration before pronouncing the Kantor MPAC open.

St Kilda Town Hall

Specialty Theatre was commissioned to install an acoustic treatment solution to divide the St Kilda Town Hall. The install had to match the historical feel of the room while utilising the strength and durability of modern equipment.

Woodville Town Hall, South Australia

Built in 1927 the Woodville Town Hall is located at 74 Woodville Road, Woodville, South Australia in metropolitain Adediade. It a Hertiage Listed venue with an old world charm for a variety of functions and community events.  The site was fully refurbished in 2010.

Flemington Primary School

Specialty Theatre (a division of Specialty Group Pty Ltd) installed large acoustic panels for the new multipurpose hall at Flemington Primary School.
